Okay - this week is going good. Not perfect - but good.
Weight is down to 355.8 (down just shy of 20 pounds at this point). Which, incidentally, I wouldn't have checked but for the weight loss competition at my office - which it looks like at roughly 5%, I'm still losing this month, as my landlord Mark came in at over 6% (good job Mark)!
What's not perfect? Well Mother Nature hasn't cooperated in terms of letting me get outside for walks/jogs. And our exercise room is a mess since the house guys came in and fixed the ceiling nail pops. So this weekend we're going to put it back together so at least I have the elliptical to work with next week. That's the one piece that needs to now fall into place - getting my cardio and core strength back to racing readiness as the weight keeps dropping. Labor Day is closer than we think, you know.
So - this picture above - was from day 3 of our cruise - where I got to swim with the dolphins in Grand Cayman. What a wonderful experience - they're magnificent creatures - and I adored my time with them. We played. We splashed. And we danced with them!
On the way back to the ship, however, was where Amber rolled her ankle and ended up needing a wheelchair for a few days. Needless to say - it limited our OFF-ship activities. But not our onboard ones! We had such a great time on the Fantasy! I can't wait to take another one...
Maybe an Alaska cruise...they do leave from Seattle.
EPCOT AWAITS!
Great photo, It's nice to hear that your going down in weight again. Also if you want to take a disney cruise out of Seattle, you better do it soon, the ship is going back to Vancouver next year.
ReplyDelete"Mother Nature" isn't an excuse unless there is lightning or it's both raining AND under 50 degrees! When I lived back in "Mush"igan I ran in almost anything. (But I've got to admit I'm much happier to be here in Arizona now where "Mother Nature" almost ALWAYS cooperates.
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you continuing to make progress.
Nice weight loss numbers!!
ReplyDeleteI can relate with mother nature . She has been raining on major training days for me too. Love the pic.

ReplyDeleteI love swimming with dolphins, they are amazing!
