3 of 7 (round 2)

Someone's growing! Yes - Elizabeth's bed has been converted to a toddler bed - and last night - I'm pretty sure she rolled out of it onto the floor, and STAYED asleep while doing it. It was pretty funny - we went in to check on her and she's all snuggled in her blankets.....on the floor.

Anyhoo - I completed my 7 workout challenge (in faster time than anticipated due to multiple workouts during SNOWmageddon here in the PNW) - discussed it with my "coach" - who has increased the workouts to 45 minutes from 30. I'm three workouts into my seven. And working out has become more of a "habit" again.

The goal is to get me up to 60-90 per day prior to the Princess. The Princess goal we've defined is to survive and go further. By the time we get to Disneyland in September, I'll be under the pacing requirement - and finishing no problem. November - Wine and Dine - faster. And in January 2013, I'll return to WDW and conquer the course that started it all for me!

The only thing bugging me is my weight.

It's stayed kinda stagnant.

But that's okay. I just need to be extra careful about "extra" calories - even "workout" calories - and just be vigilant. The weight will come off. I just have to keep the course.

So - thanks "coach". You're helping me push myself in ways I'd forgotten how to.

EPCOT AWAITS!

  1. You've got this! I love to see your goals. Do you have them written somewhere handy?

My husband and I are FINALLY booking our honeymoon and vow renewal (even though we will have been married for almost 2 years by the time we have our "wedding" - thanks to the military scheduling). We're going on a 7 day cruise on the Fantasy!

To help me stay focused, I'm buying a swimsuit for the cruise and a Fantasy Disney Cruise line shirt so I can hang it up in my bedroom and see it every day. That helps me stay on track! :) Do you display your medals in your work out room?

  2. I'm glad you have a plan. I'd love to see you push it harder. I know you can do more than the elliptical and I know you know that you need time on the road or it's going to be very tough to go further. I love the elliptical as a cross training tool and it will help you, but it really isn't the same as getting out on the road and experiencing the pounding and the differences in the terrain. As long as you keep all this in mind and make sure you add in the time on the feet on the pavement and pushing the pace during the training. To get faster you have to practice being faster - you know this and you can do this.

As for the eating - be really good about tracking everything and trying to avoid the bad snacking. You know how to do this, you just have to remember what works best for you.

Keep going, I want serious success at the Princess!

  3. I don't really have anything to say, I just want to let you know that I read your posts and want you to succeed. I trust that whatever your doing is the right thing to do and if it's not, I believe you will find the right path.

  4. I agree with Amanda. :) I am glad to see slow progress. When my kids went from Crib to toddler bed. They were on the floor more than they were in the bed. :D
