Rapunzel

I had to bring you this photo today - what a BIG girl we have! Holy cow! She's growing so dang fast.

I also wanted to publicly thank my good friend Jeff W for a motivational phone call today - kinda an extra kick in the butt. I've been struggling the last few weeks due to baby issues, birthday issues, and sleep issues. But now that Precor is here (and I'm using it - so far 4 workouts since it's been put in last wednesday) - I'm soaking my shirts and all will be well. :)

But seriously - thanks Jeff.

And also - thanks to Amanda and Justin for being my e-mail buddies.

And the rest of the team for sticking with me!

Great things are coming! Just give me time. ;)

EPCOT AWAITS!

  1. Such an adorable little girl you have - hard to believe how big she is already!

You know I'm around whenever you need a push or anything else!

Keep pushing through these issues - I want to be able to give you a huge hug at the FINISH LINE of the half in January!!!!

  2. Glad to see you put the Precor through its paces. You push hard enough on that thing and you're going to see some great results.

I'm still hoping to find a way to get down to WDW this January. One big reason for me to do so would be to see you finish the half.

  3. She is getting so big!! Beautiful!!
You can do this. This past year now has just been really rough for you. You can not hold on to the past. You MUST move forward. Be successful at what you like to do. Remember you do have little eyes watching every move you make and do. Those little eyes will mimic what you do as they get older.
I will be there Jan. I can not wait to go!! I will wait for you at the finish line just like I did when we all did our first half. 09' I wouldn't leave. They tried, but I didn't move.
So.. support you have...finish you must.

  4. It was great talking with you. During our call I got the sense that your mind set is in a good place. With nine weeks left you have a lot of work ahead of you. The good thing is that within the next two months you can really make great strides if you stay focused on your training goals. How do I know? Well in August I was pacing 13s and by staying committed I was able to achieve a pace of 11:25 during the Des Moines half when October rolled around (even without an Ipod if you can believe that)

As I said during our call. The ability to achieve your goals is within your grasp. It all depends on the choices you make each day over the next nine weeks. (and beyond) I know you have a long family trip planned for late November. I can not stress enough that you need to look hard at your dining choices during that trip. I have more to say but will follow up later with an email.

If ever you want to chat again feel free to text me and we can set up a time to talk. Again let me say it was good to talk with you. The Jonathan I met through AATM was certainly in the house. Take care my friend and I'll email soon.
