346 - Reboot

So it was a bad week last week.

I'm up 3 pounds. And that's going to happen at times. Especially when you're not sleeping, not exercising, not eating most days, and then eating more than you should when you DO eat, and dealing with an emotional roller coaster.

But here's the good news.

It was NOT as bad as it would have been before.

And knowing what I know about me - I got up this morning - and just REBOOTED. Already been to the gym.

Here are THIS week's Vinymation goals - and this week will be the first I've opened in three weeks! Time to get my hands on one!

1) Weight. Check.

2) Points. Stay within. Go into weekly no more than TWO days (probably Friday and Saturday as we celebrate our anniversary).

3) Exercise. Five days. One down.

Okay - we're past the hard week. Now let's have a few GREAT ones before Disneyland!

MAIN STREET AWAITS!

  1. Don't let the weight thing get you down. There are always a number of factors that determine the weight on any given day.

With all my running, my weight fluctuates plus/minus 6 lbs EVERY day. My morning weigh in is always a surprise. The daily weight doesn't really mean a thing anymore due to the wild scale fluctuations. Now my spreadsheet averages my weight over the last 4 days to even out all the data points. That 4-day average is what I consider to be my current weight.

    Am I babbling again?

Anyway, get those workouts done. Control the food. You can't control the weight directly, but you can control how much you hit the elliptical and how much you eat.

And when you get to Disneyland, for the love of God, avoid the Monte Cristo. Regardless what Matt Weeks says, there are no free calories at Disney. That damned sandwich was the last nail in my fitness coffin last August. I'm just now recovering from it.

  2. I'll confess to eating 4 donuts in the last 3 days. That would be with the last 2 being today. And we ate out several times, which isn't good. I'm sure my weigh-in at Weight Watchers tomorrow will not be good. But I hope to get on the elliptical this evening after my husband gets home from work.

This is the bad thing about being unemployed. I'm home all day, and so I want to snack. Even with watching my 7mth old baby girl, I still want to snack. Not good.

    Hang in there. :)

  3. Well, you aren't the only one that has bad weeks. I've had to reboot myself as well. I ate awfully all last week and didn't work out near as much as I should have, but even with a migraine today I kept food in check and did 6.23mi :)!

Forgive yourself and move forward just like you're doing and you'll be back in business and back on track!
