It's our motto.What's a motto?
NOTHING! What's a motto with you?!? LOL
*sigh* It's my favorite movie and I still can't bear to watch it yet. But regardless - today's posting is all about Hakuna Matata. You know? It means no worries!
And I think for all of us who are worried about the W&D (which DOES have a pace requirement, they just moved it - sneaky sneaky) - we need to remember this phrase. To utilize a problem-free philosophy.
To enjoy our race together - do our best - and NOT WORRY about it.
Sure - we have LOTS of other things to worry about. Work. Family. Health. But not the W&D. This is a nighttime race that ends with a PARTY, people. So let's just enjoy it. We can worry about January. :)
Food - good so far the last few days. Weight is down a bit, but not 339 yet. (341 and change) Exercise - I had planned an excursion to the gym this morning. And then we were up with Elizabeth from 2am - 3ish am. And somebody (me) overslept. Which happens. So instead, I'll take a nice long walk on my lunch break today (since I usually get one when I'm judging).
I'm not going to weigh in again until Monday so there'll be a good number there. And I'll be back tomorrow to wish you all a happy new year! (If you're confused - don't worry - I'll explain tomorrow).
MAIN STREET AWAITS!
SO are we all gonna get together after the race and have a stinky smelly meet?
ReplyDeleteI so can't wait for the Wine & Dine...I got to see the medal up close and personal at the Disneyland Expo and it's awesome...Huge, heavy and gorgeous!!! We're all going to get one and we're all going to sport it at the after party (what little time we'll have left for the party after the race)!
