Friends and teammates (and family too - my MOM actually reads this blog now! Can you believe I just said that sentence? I mean - my Mom KNOWS what a blog is! LOL) - welcome to the newly refreshed Voice of.The time has come, my faithful friends, to talk of many things! Of ships and strings and ceiling wax, and cabbages and kings....oh wait....wrong movie. ;)
So first off - a HUGE thank you to the unofficial Team Voice graphic guy - JUSTIN - the goof redesigned my logo to incorporate the Simba graphic I posted earlier - and I love his designs. I have a few others I'm saving for special occasions - but seriously - Justin smacked it outta the park with this one!
Secondly - time to reveal a little known fact. I have come to a decision. On Monday, I will be officially submitting my application to be a part of the 2011 Walt Disney World Moms Panel. I am really excited about this opportunity - and words can't even describe how much I really WANT to do this job. What do you think guys?
Thirdly - I also have ANOTHER project in the works. I'm keeping the wraps on this one for a bit - but I wanted to tease you. It has NOTHING to do with Team Voice or Club 8 - but EVERYTHING to do with Disney. :) You guys KNOW how I love to be dramatic.
Lastly - a Team Voice check in - I realized that I haven't mentioned exercise the last few days - but I HAVE been exercising. Our weather has been stinky - so I was in the gym twice already this week - and hit the pavement this morning for a nice Safeway loop. Sadly, I'm still carrying a few extra pounds after Rosh Hashana, but they'll come off this weekend for a nice Monday weigh-in.
Justin was right - we're not in taper mode - we have a few weeks to kick the tires here - shake off some dust - and push forward to W&D - where we're going to have a GREAT TIME! I can't wait to see you all and share our medals and that drink!
I'll admit to being nervous - because the last year hasn't been wonderful health and fitness wise - but the way I see it - you can either run from the past - or....learn from it! Ha! There - now what are you going to do?
"Well first....I'm gonna take your stick."
NO! Not the stick! Go! Go on - get out of here!!! WOOOOO!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
MAIN STREET AWAITS!
OMG You would so be perfect for the mom's pannel. Funny thing I was just about to email you about a question I had about photo pass. I told my hubby ohh Jonathan will know the answer, and then I read this. Perfection!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLove that your mom is reading the blog, "Hi Jonathan's mom".
A disney project. I am so excited to hear about it.
First off, Hi Jonathan's Mom!! I saw you at the Mouse Meet!! And my Mom is pretty darn computer savvy too and she is 96!
ReplyDeleteI think you would be perfect for the Mom's?Dad's Panel!! I would love to be on the panel because I don't think they take into consideration that a good size chunk of their audience is single people or couples without children in tow. I don't know if you must have children to qualify (I do of course but she is 34 and is one of those above mentioned couples without....darn it!) but I would love to see more of a without kids outlook. Anyway, good luck, I will be cheering you on usual!!!
I wish I was going to be along the sidelines to cheer you on like we did for the Rock N Roll marathon but I'll be following you, cheering from here!!!
Dana
Well, you were a Team Voice M.O.M once, right? So how should this be any different? :-) Go for it.
ReplyDeleteYou and your secret projects.... You're not building an Arc, are you?
You have nothing to be nervous about. You're going to freakin' Disneyworld with your wife, daughter and mom (right?). It's a time to leave all your worries and problems behind because, there, they don't matter.
ReplyDeleteHave fun. Run. Celebrate.
Your secret project . . . you're going to Hong Kong Disneyland aren't you? Right Mom?

That's great that your Mom is reading the blog - very cool!
