Day four of South Beach - and feeling good. A little digestive discomfort - but on the whole - not too bad.Amanda texted me to find out how she can help motivate me. She thinks I have it "all together" so far.
Far from it, buddy! :)
The food stuff is going well, so that's a plus, but I have to keep getting my butt outside and getting my feet on the pavement to get myself back in long-distance walking shape.
Keep reminding me why.
Keep encouraging me.
Keep believing.
Celebrate my successes!
And if all else fails - threaten me with Captain Hook (see above - LOL).
MAIN STREET AWAITS!
Keep it up Jonathan, you are working hard to balance everything. It is great to read your blog everyday, to see what you are thinking and feeling. That is a step in the right direction.
ReplyDeleteEverynight when you get home look into Elizabeths little eyes and know why you are working so hard at this, why you will not fail and above all no matter what she loves you for who you are.
I was going to say "buy him an AP to WDW or DL..." but yeah, ya know, keeping on you about staying consistent works too.... :-)
ReplyDeleteSounds like SBD is managable (apart from the V8, lol), great! Keep it going. Like any other diet, it's more of a lifestyle change than a quick fix anyhow.
Okay Buddy - you can get out there and put those miles in - there's no stopping you!
ReplyDeleteGetting the food under control is one big step and you'll get the pavement under your feet and start cruising along soon enough!
Just keep letting me know what you need!
Nothing motivates me to get outside like being laid up and stuck inside, relying on everyone around me for A WEEK! It hasn't even been 7 days since my first major surgery, and I'm chomping at the bit for a bike ride, or a swim or SOMETHING.
ReplyDeleteSo walk a mile for me today! BECAUSE YOU CAN!
