Well I'm back down to 339.5 (just a hair above where I started the month) - which feels great. Especially since I'm doing new pictures for my office's website today.Of course - that's not the only news from Valentine's Day weekend.
My father is back in the hospital as of Saturday evening.
He's been getting weaker and falling. And this time, when the paramedics came to help him up, they noticed that his stomach was quite distended. He had an impacted colon again and his electrolytes (sodium particularly) were quite low - necessitating another admission to the hospital and bringing a whole new round of confusion to him with it.
But I'm surviving it - and not letting the stress and fear of it all get me into an unhealthy pattern.
In any event - things seem to be working their way out with him - and hopefully he'll be home in a day or so. I'll keep you all posted.
MAIN STREET AWAITS!
:-( I'm sad to read about your Dad, sorry J-man..that's gotta be pretty tough to cope with.
ReplyDeleteBut, sounds like your head is still in the upright position (along with your tray table) so on the happier note, I'm glad for your Dr. J-like rebound! Good work, challenge met, issue deterred. One day, week, month, crisis....at a time. :-)
I think I can speak for your extended on-line family in saying that we're here for ya brother, so keep our contact info handy if you ever need it!
Sorry to hear about that Jonathon! But it sounds like you're really on the right track. You'll be more equipted to deal with the emotional stuff if your body isn't dragging you down too.
ReplyDeleteHope your Dad is feeling better. I've been there and I know it can be a de-railer so great job keeping your head on straight and dealing with this head on.
ReplyDeleteI'll keep you and family in my thoughts and hope everything goes right for you all!!
Aww, Jonathan. I'm sorry to hear that. You and your family will be in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteOn a happier note, congrats on your achievements with the weight loss! You're an inspiration - keep it up!
