Happy Canada Day

I want to wish all my friends in the Great White North a Happy Canada Day!

If you don't know what Canada day is - think Fourth of July - only in Canada.

I also want to thank ALL of you for your support and comments. Gosh it meant a lot to see all your praise for what I consider to be an awful race performance. LOL

Rest assured, I'll be training for a 15 minute pace in DLR. I'll also have better shoes, and more water on the course. And I will not be swept.

I've been pretty much resting the last three days, letting my legs (and my shoulders for some reason) work themselves out through normal daily activity.

Tomorrow I go back to EA Active and turn up the difficulty. And the challenge that is July begins. Until the 9th, things should proceed normally. Hopefully once I'm back from Oklahoma, things will settle into a nice groove, and we'll make some great progress - both in terms of weight, and speed.

Can you believe the PNW MouseMeet is 45 days away!?!? I've gotten GREAT stories from folks (Mary - your stories are AWESOME!) - so keep them coming! I want to have lots more pictures to include in my slideshow!

And DLR is less than 70 days away at this point. How awesome is that?!?!

Time to start thinking about ADRs and AATM Meets. :)

Suggestions?

MAIN STREET AWAITS!

I've been doing the EA Active and I LOVE it! It really sweats you, doesn't it? I've had to lay off the lunges a bit as the knee doesn't like that, but even at Medium intensity I feel like I've exercised at the end...

Happy Canada Day to you too!

Give yourself a little bit of credit on the finish of the RnR 1/2....you've got alot going on in your life so sticking to the comitment was huge in my book! Also, I can feel your enthusiasm for having a better performance in DL as a result of not being happy with the overall performance at RnR....Big picture thinking ;-) Now, lets get to it!

Don't you think everyone should celebrate Canada Day with a tall cold Moosehead and dinner at Le Cellier?

Aw! Thanks for the shout out. I am glad you have been getting them all. I started to get worried they were in cyberspace.

Did u hear I got free tickets and travel voucher to magic meets? I am excited, but sad u guys won't be there too.

I will send more stories tomorrow and send me your address so I can send the video, too. Have a great day!!

America's Hat has holiday's too, eh?

You're darn right you're not going to be swept at Disneyland! You are going to train like crazy this Summer.

More pain now. Less pain at the race.

If your shoulders are sore you were probably really tense during the race. As you're training try to think loose and keep the tension out of your upper body. It'll help you conserve energy and put the tension where it should be - in your legs.

Keep plugging along and working towards DL!

I love Canada! The people, the country, and the pavilion at Epcot! I even like the Canada movie with Martin Short!
