Trip Report - Day IV

Been a couple of days since I've updated - sorry - things have been a little hectic. I did get my butt back into the gym though, and man are my arms sore today. :) Food intake is back on track for the most part, and I'm getting my body back up to speed to start training for my next race! Sponsors - watch your mailboxes. :)

I'm also putting together a DVD slideshow of my journey to the race, including hundreds of vacation photos set to music with text narration. I'm doing this for me and family - but it occurs to me that some of you MIGHT want a copy. Just curious if anyone'd be interested.

Anywhoo - Day four began with some in room dining, and I must concur with Lisa and Trace - the Contemporary in-room breakfast food is WONDERFUL. I think I had a waffle. :) We wanted an early start because we were on a princess hunt this day. We'd promised our neices that we'd get them personalized autographs from Ariel and Aurora. (See above) And the princesses were WONDERFUL. Trust me, if you've never seen it - go through the princess meet and greet in ToonTown and just watch them with the little kids. Wow. THAT'S magic.
We hung around the Magic Kingdom all day. Lunch at Columbia Harbor. And then around 2 hopped on the world famous jungle cruise. Saw a pair-a-docks, a pair-a-ducks, and a pair-a-dorks. :)
Even managed to get our picture taken with CAPTIAN HOOK outside Pirates! Really cool! But no Peter Pan....yet. :)
Then at 3pm we met up with Team Voice again at Aloha Isle for our Dole Whip toast! Kate was running late but she hauled butt to get there, having just finished the goofy. When she arrived - we went nuts cheering and clapping and everything! And the founding members got a nice photo. After that, things kinda split up a bit - there were a lot of folks heading home in the next day or so, and Amber and I had ADRs in EPCOT, so we said our farewells. Gave hugs. Watched John Corigliano announce he would be running. And headed to the monorail.

And can I just say - what a WONDERFUL group Team Voice is. I'm so proud to be a part of this. I can't even express it.
Dinner was by far one of my favorite meals of the entire trip. Teppan Edo! What a wonderful show. And the food was pretty good too! Just beforehand, we managed to squeak in one of three performances we watched all trip by the Voices of Liberty. Holy Cats. They can make me tear up every time.

And what a wonderful dinner!

But we went back shortly after. We had Animal Kingdom tomorrow - and LOTS planned. Needed sleep.

MAIN STREET AWAITS!
