Week Six - Day One - 289.0

Well - first of all - I'm down a bit of weight from last week - not much - but we're headed back in the right direction.

Secondly - today's run went quite well...2.2 miles in 31:50. I thought it was a longer loop...but c'est la vie.

Now - I want to publicly and openly congratulate JEFF W. for his marvelous event this last weekend. Not only was it GREAT fun - Jeff gave this team a much needed morale boost, and got everyone's head back in the game!

GREAT JOB JEFF!

Today will be a normal day - and a pretty good week - lots happening at work to distract me from snacking - and a few trials to get the blood pumping. :) And a 4.5 mile run awaiting me on Saturday. :)

Have I mentioned how much fun I'm having?

MAIN STREET AWAITS!

  1. Ditto, great event by Jeff W. for sure!

Great job on the 4mi to you Mr. Voice! Steppin' it up a notch I see... :-) And you're correct, this "race" really helped me think about my training a bit more helping to rededicate my own efforts.

Okay, no more Mongello length shows!!! I've only gotten through half of it as of this morning! LOL Kidding, of course, keep up the great work there as well!

  2. Great job on your run and your turn around. Yes, I agree that Cornfest has given the team new life. I'm hoping that well have a few more "races" before the big one!

    See ya!
