So this morning I decided to run outside. Except that I woke up late. And wasn't going to run at all.
And Amber said "C'mon - do a little time on the treadmill."
To which I replied "But we have so much to do to get ready for Easter Dinner (we're hosting 7 friends)"
And Amber said "C'mon - do a little time on the treadmill."
To which I replied "But it's already nine!"
And Amber said "C'mon - do a little time on the treadmill."
And I realized I was making excuses - so I laced up and headed to the treadmill.
Where I decided to experiment with speeds. And I can now run sustained at 5.0 for a while! Which is how in only 25 minutes I ran 1.705 miles! Tomorrow I'm still planning on getting outside, but just because I don't - doesn't mean I won't be on that treadmill (and tomorrow should be a long run).
Foodwise - things are going great! In fact our entire Easter dinner is from a WW cookbook!!! How do you like THAT?!
MAIN STREET AWAITS!
Awesome job on the run. It is great that you have someone with you that cares enough to give you those little pushes that you occasionally need. And I like yesterday's story about the judge.
