307.2

2.2 pounds in a week is about the right amount, according to my trainer and according to WW, so I can't be unhappy with the results, although I suspect this week will provide LARGER losses, since this morning I begin my weight regimen.

Although it won't be with Todd.

I got a call last night that Todd wouldn't be able to make it so the club set me up with Angie for my first workout.

If I click with Angie better than I did with Todd, I'm going to request she remain my trainer, frankly. Just seemed to be too many problems with Todd, you know?

And on top of that - remember the 'online tools' I was getting with my package? Yup - they don't work with a Mac. So then, last night I signed up for WW Online for Men. At 307.2 with my daily workday being "mostly sitting, but occasionally walking around" I start with FOURTY FOUR points a day. Holy cow. That just seems like an enormous amount. Amber gets 31. I might have her check in on it at her meeting today and see if the website is as accurate as it should be.

Either way - I'll stick with it - and go from there - but I don't know if I'll use all 44 every day.

Starting tomorrow though I'll be posting my entire points intake, as well as the Sunday MouseFest report.

Have a great day Team Voice!

  1. I hear ya on the food. Just remember, that if you don't eat enough, you loose the wrong weight and hurt yourself in the long run or your body just stops loosing and starts saving.

I thought the same thing when I figured out how much I need to eat a day plus whatever I exercise.

  2. Jonathan, Thomas is correct, your body will need a certain balance of food intake mixed with exercise to burn off calories effectivly.

Over at Snowny Tundra I have a link to a Weight Watchers Point Calculator. Lower on that page it lists point ranges. It says that a person over 350lbs would be in this range 32-37. I am not disagreeing with WW. If you look at the point ranges you will see they overlap. My question would be, is 44 at the top or lower part of that range?

I agree that sounds like a lot of points. Rae and I are in the same range with 24-29 points. I takes willpower to get through each day. I for one certainly struggle with it.

Did you catch the start of the current biggest loser?
Teams had to compete for the chance to select either Bob or Jillian. These two trainers both work their teams hard, but they are very different in how they approach people. I was amazed that Jillian's team filled up first. She always seems very in your face where Bob seems to come at it with a more postive motivational approach.
Hey it's TV and I am sure that the show is edited in such a way to paint these two oppossing impressions.

Good luck with finding a trainer that is a good fit for you. But be certain it is someone who will push you and help you KEEP MOVING FORWARD.
